Tapestry Needle Polyester fiberfill.and crochet hook to attach the fringe to scarf.
Finished sise: 19 inches x23 inches.
Gauge: with 1 strand of brown and 1 strand of light brown held tog: 15 sts and 22 rows = 4 inches in st st.
Note: Bear in snitt sideways in 1 piece, beg at end of arm with 1 strand of brown and 1 strand of light brown,held tog and leaving long end cast on 4 sts.
Row 1: Inc, Ke, inc (6 sts) (Inc means to knit 2 sts in one on first st and 2 sts on last st).

Bind off, leaving long end for sewing.
Finishing
Step 1: fold piece in half. Beginning at end of arm with light brown, sew pieces tog along top of arm, up side of head, over ears and down other sisde of head. Do not fasten off.
Step 2 With light brown, sew small stitches across the ears, from side of head to middle and then across to other ear. Secure end.
Step 3: Stuff head firmly with fiberfill, including nose and snout area. Weave a length of light brown around base of neck, do not pull too tight. Do not secure end.
Step 4: With light brow yarn from step 1: continue to sew around arm and legs, stopping at base of end leg where joined to body. do not fasten off.
Step 5: stuff arm with fiberfill. With brow, sew across ar, securing fiberfill and making shoulder moveable.
Step 6: stuff legs in same manner and sew across tops of legs to secure fiberfill.
Step 7: With light brown yar from step 4, continue to sew around remaining unfilled arm,leaving opening for stuffing. Do not fasten off.
Step 8: stuff arm and sew across end in same manner as first arm.
Step 9: stuff stomach and close opening. secure end.
Step 10: Tightend yarn around neck. Do not pull too tight. Secure end.
Step 11: with tapestry needle, draw 1 strand of brown through neck, a few times. Bring needle out of neck to center front of neck, insert needle to right of where it came out and guide it up through stuffing to where an eye should be. Pull yarn all the way through and insert needle back into head where 2nd ey should be. Guide needle back down to starting point at center front of neck. Before pulling yarn all the way through, squeeze head to make snout protrude further, and at tsame time pull tightly on the yarn to form an indentation for the bridge of the nose. Repeat several times and secure end.
Step 12: with black, embroider French Knots for eyes and small straight stitches for nose and mouth.
Scraf: With 1 strand of aqua, cast on 6 sts.
Row 1: knit
Rows 2-11: knit
Row 12:purl
Row 13: knit
row 14: purl
Rows 15-20: Rep rows 13 and 14 (3 times.
Rep rows 1 -20 until piece measures 18 inches, endin with a row 10. Bind off knitwise.
Fringe
Cut 20 lengths of acqua, each 2 inches long. For each knot of fringe, fold 2 lengths in half, with crochet hook, draw folded end through first st on 1 short end of scraf. Draw ends through fold and tighten knot. Tioe 4 addition knots evenly spaced across edge: tie 5 knots across remaining short endge. Trim ednds even. Tie around neck.
