Weekend Little lamb Sweater Crochet Version

This outfit is with a zipper in the back and you can get all kinds of knitting and crocheting kits at this siteInstructionseasy to follow and you will need the following : Size K(10 1/2/6.5mm)crochet hook or size need to obtain gauge, Tapestry needle, sewing needle and sewing thread.
This is for and easy knitter or crocheter as it at experience level:Easy.
Finished Sizes: Instructions fit size 6 months: changer for size 12 mos are in ().
Gauge= 14 st=5 inches, 8 rows= 3 inches.
Pattern Notes:Weave in ends as work progresses, join with a slip stitch unless other wise stated.
Ch 3 at beginning of row counts as a double crochet.

Body:
Note: Body is worked in 1 piece to armholes. It is then divided, and 2 backs and 1 front are worked off main body.

Row 1: Ch 62(68), sc in 2n ch from hook, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch, rep from* across, turn (61(67)sts)
Row 2: Ch 3 (see pattern notes)*sc in next dc, dc in next sc, rip from* across. turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first dc,*dc in next sc, sc in next dc, rep from* across. turn.
Rep rows 2 and3 until body measures 5 1/2(6) inches from beg.

Note: Divide fro backs and front as follows:
First back
Continuing in established patter, work across first 15(16) sts, turn. leaving re sts unworked.
Work in established patter until piede measures 4 1/2(5) inches from beg of armholes. fasten off.

Front:
Join( see pattern Notes) yarn in next unworked st on body from First Back, continue in established pattern in next 31(35)sts. turn, leaving rem sts unworked.
Work in establishe pattern until piece measures 3 1/2 (4) inches from beg of armhole.

Neck Shaping:
Row 1:Ch 1, work in exstablished pattern across first 10(11) sts, turn, leaving rem sts unworked.
Row 2: work in established pattern across. turn. Rep row 2 until neck Shaping measures 1 inch.
Fasten Off.

2Nd Back: Join yarn in next unworked st on Body from Front, continue in established pattern in last 15(16) sts, turn.
Worked in established pattern until piece measures 4 1/2(5) inches from beg of armhole. Fasten off.
Body Edging:
Row 1:(RS):Hold pieds wit RS facing and foundation ch at top, join yarn in first unused loop of foundation ch, ch 1, sc in same lp, working in rem unused lps, sc in next 60(66)lps. turn. (61(68)sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. fasten off.
Sleeve: Make 2

Work even until Sleeve measures 7 inches fro beg fasten off.
Continue with Sleeve Edging:
Sleeve Edging
Row 1 (RS):Hold Sleeve with RS facing and foundation ch at top, join jarn in first unused loop fo foundation ch, ch 1, sc in same loop, orkiung in remaining unused loops, sc in next 16 loops. turn (17 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. fasten off.

Hood:
Row 1 (RS): Ch 34(38) sc in 2nd ch from hook, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch, rep from * across. turn (33(37)sts)
Row 2: ch 3, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc, rep from* across. turn.
Row 3: ch 1, sc in first dc,*dc in next sc, sc in next dc, rep from*across. turn.
Rep rows 2 and 3 until Hood measures 6 (6 1/2) inches from beg. fasten off.

Hood Edging:
Row 1 (RS): Hold Hood with RS facing and foundation cha at top, join yarn in first unused loop- of foundation ch, ch 1, sc in same loop, working rem unused loops, sc in each of next 32(36)loops, turn. (33(37) sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. fasten off.

Assembly:
sew front and backs at shoulders sew hood in at neck.

Zipper Edging:
Row1 (RS): Hold Body with RS facing join yarn in back left bottom edge of back oping, ch 1 sc evenly sp along left back, around Hood and along right back. turn.
Row 2: ch 1 , sc in each sc afcross. Work 1 row sc with WS facing. Fasten off.

Finishing Sew zipper in at back withopen edge at bottom back. sew sleeves in at armholes.
